Marlin Sei£fert. <br />The Council advised that there is no limitation as to the number of Off- <br />Sale Liquor licenses available, but t�iat a suitable location for the <br />iruilding would have to be approved before the Council would consider <br />13censing. <br />Engineer Report <br />P,ir. Don Carley presented his preliminary report re; the estimated cost <br />of Floral Drive Street Improvement Pio. 2. The estimated cost o£ the <br />improvement, as recommended, is �7,000.00. Jones moved that the Council <br />call i'or bids on i�loral Drive Street Improvement No. 2 and that a Public <br />Hearing oq the I�provement be held April 25th at B;00 at the Village Hall. <br />Kennedy seconded. Courtney advised that I,iquor signs may be left on any length of time, <br />up to a time r+hen tney become a nuisance to neighbors. <br />Courtney advised that he had contacted PJir. Daubney re; sewer in nis area <br />and �,vas advised the.t llaubney does not vaish to go ahead with a request for <br />sewer at this tir.�e. <br />Courtney advised that no ±'urther aetion can be taken in the Schryer - 3i� <br />10 matter. <br />Public Works Report <br />Mr. Jones repos�te tnat the F.oad committee held a meetin� re: rcad break- <br />up points in the Villa�e. Ee advised t}iat road posting signs mrill be <br />taken do�vn earlier tnan the P,?ay 15 date, if requested Uy the �Tilla�e, and <br />ii it will not be detrimental to the roads. <br />Jones adviaed that the area behind the backsbop on i�ne playground at <br />County Road E and C:lenArden Hoad will be black-topped whero it is wasning <br />out. He reported tnat the roads in tne Tiller Lane, Carlton Drive area <br />are badly broken up and that Arden �3 is very Uad, but until the frost is <br />out of the ground, onl;� blading can.be done to keep the ruts down. <br />V�ielfare Committee <br />?�s. Kennedy presented the f'inal plat of i3oveland Homesites to the Council <br />for `neir si�natures� and reported that all o: the lots have been sold. <br />•Kennedy reporte3 ti�at he has ?�eceived requests from the Little Leaguas <br />to sell advertising posters to be placed on their ball park fencas. Tne <br />Council unanin:ously agreed that this would be an e;�e-sore as well as against <br />Villa�e Ordinance. The Council also agreed that it �vould not be possible <br />to purchsse ar.other �aseball site to oe readg for use this season, but <br />that school �rounds could possibly be used. The purc:hase of land for tnis <br />purpose would have to come before the voters.. <br />
