The Council agreed unanimously that tnere must be a better <br />way for Lit�le.Leagtzes to raise money. Permission was denied. <br />Clerk�s ieport <br />T�Irs. Stromquist read a letter from Attorney Courtney re; Big 10 Liquor <br />• Store, Inc., regarding cYiange of off'icers as set out in tihe Certificate <br />of �rr.endment of Articles of Incorporation of Scnreyer, Inc „ and request- <br />ing the Clerk to f�ll out a forrr, of Certificat�on of On�hSale Liquor Lieense� <br />to be sent to the Liquor Control Commissioner. <br />Mr. Worth fiead asked tne Council whether it was good Village policy i'or <br />a police officer to be an officer of a liquor establishment. The clerk <br />�sas requested to discuss the mattor with Attorney Courtney. <br />Stromguist moved that the Deputy Clerk�s salary be raised from �1.50 per <br />nour to �1.75 per hour as of April 1, 1900. Seconded by Crepeau. Carried. <br />Stromquist reported that 2 sewer connections have been made in the Village <br />and that they would be billed tniy quarter. The Council unanimously <br />agreed that 30 days after the connection to tne house, tne sevaer is con- <br />sidered to be available for ase and billing wi11 then begin. <br />Stromquist moved tnat the Council a��prove payment of claims #2128 thru <br />• ¢�21ti8.
