It is specifically understood and agreed that the total cost of this service sha11 not exceed the sum of $10,000.00. B. FUTURE WORK In the event the Village Council elects to proceed further with the work and directs us to prepare detailed plans and specifications for a portion or all of the work covered by the aforesaid report, we will prepare such plans and specifications in accordance with the fees recommended by the Minnesota Society of Professional Engineers, which are those fees you paid for plans and specifications for your sanitary sewer construction under Improvements No. 1, 2, 3 and 4. We further propose that all monies paid for the studies and report as referred to herein shall apply as fu11 credit against those fees. C, SPECSAL PROVISIONS It is to be specificaYly understood and agreed that by acceptance of this Proposal, the Village is not obligated to us in any way unless and until the Village receives a Federal Couununity Facilities Administration Planning Advance, and it is to be further understood that all costs for this preliminary study and report shall be made from aforesaid Planning Advance. � The Village agrees to make available to and furnish us with all the existing and pertinent information in the way of maps, records, plans, contours, profile, stndies, etc. which are available in respect to all phases of the work to be undertaken. We are to aCtend any and all conferences deemed desirable and proper regarding this matter with the Village officials and with State and other officials, when authorized by the Village. It is to be specifically understood that this Ptoposal do not include the cost of exploration caork. • D. PER DIEM FEES the engineering services provided for in drilling test o�ells or any anderground We propose to keep complete time records for all work performed on this project and charges to the Village shall be made on the per diem basis of not more than seventy five dollars ($75.00) per day for the principal engineer and twice the gross salary of subordinates for such time as they work on this project, but in no case more than $75.00 per day, plus mileage at the rate of $0.08 per mile for those automobiles driven in connection with the project, when actually engaged in such work. We further propose to send to the Village Council all such time', records as they may request, at such reasonable time as they request. A11 work performed.by us shall be the property of the Village, including all dracaings, reports, and original tracings except that we sha11 retain the right to p�ovide facsimile of the tracings with the cost of reproduction therefor to be borne be Che Village.
