� <br />M(nutes of the Regular Council Mee�Pfng of the Viflage Council <br />June 30, 1969 <br />Page Five <br />REPORT OF CLERK ADMINISTRATOR LORRAINE STROMQUIST <br />Amendment to Ordinance No. 114 - Second and Final Readin <br />Councilman Henderson moved, seconded by Counc iman Crepeau, that the rules <br />be walved, and the Second and Finai Readings be given to an ordinance <br />amending Ordinance No. 114, Relattng to the Municipal Sanitary Sewer System <br />by Exceptfng Certain Properties from the �vater meter requirement; motion <br />. carried unanimously. <br />L(cense Renewais - Garbage and Rubbish Haulers <br />Councilman Crepeau moved, seconded by Counciiman Hollenhorst, to approve <br />the license renewals for the following garbage and rubbish haulers: <br />Afl State Disposai <br />Rubb(sh Removal, inc. <br />Suburban Pickup Service <br />J and W Pickup Service <br />subJect to the approval of the Village N ealth Ofticer; motion carried <br />unanimously. <br />Newspaper Storaqe Matter <br />Clerk Administrator submitted a wrttten report which she read regarding the <br />piacement and maintenance responsibilities of the St. Paul and tAinneapolis <br />newspapers storage boxes. <br />Councilman Crepeau recomme�ded the Poiice Department inspect the areas and <br />that letters be written to the offending newspaper when conditions are not <br />sati sfac'tory. <br />Empioyment Status - Harold Holton <br />As recommended by MaEntenanca Supervisor Beecher, Councilman Crapeau moved, <br />seconded by Counciiman Nolfenhorst, that Harold Nolton be considered a full- <br />time regufar employee, effective July !3, 1969; motfon carried unanimous�y, <br />Proposed Buiidinq Code Revisions <br />Clerk Administrator read bufiding code changes as recommended by Yiliage <br />inspectors which are as follows: <br />Heati�g Inspector, Eugene Pakoy: <br />I, Heating inspection fees he increased, considering the Rosevfl9e <br />schedule. <br />2. Heating pians to be submitted whon permits are applied for. <br />3. Ail incincerators to be ve�fed. <br />4. AIl gas pipfng to be installed by a master plumber. <br />Plumbing, Sewer and l9eii Inspector, Winifield 41est: <br />I. Piumbing fee to be figured zt 53.00 tor the fir5t opening plus <br />754 for each additionat opening. <br />� 2. Fee for insfiallatfon ot a soptic tank, cesspool and/or dralnfield <br />to be 57.50. <br />3. A fee ot 57.50 be established for a change over from well to <br />municipai water, <br />Electrical inspector, Ed Salverda: <br />1. To adopt the Minnesota Electrtcians� fee schedule, whfch was afso <br />recommonded by the Village auditor. <br />Councff requested Clerk Administrator to draft a comparison chart from in- <br />formation to be obtained from adjacen# viilages regarding the above recom- <br />mendatioms and to also include in the char# the apportionmen# of the fees <br />(the ratio between the inspector and the Viliage). <br />• <br />- 5 - <br />
