HerrIck briefly reviewed the Legislative Action Conference he <br />attended on March 2, 1971. <br /> <br />REPORT OF MAYOR HENRY J. CREPEAU, JR., - General Government and <br />Public Safety <br /> <br />League of Women Voters Letter <br />Mayor Crepeau advised the Council of a letter received from the <br />Arden HIlls League of Women Voters, agreeing to provide local study <br />material to the Council. <br /> <br />Clerk AdmInistrator Stromquist was requested to accept the League's <br />generous offer ant to thank the League on beha I f of the Counc II. <br /> <br />REPORT OF TREASURER WORTH G. READ <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Treasurer Read advised the Counci I that distribution of State Funds <br />Is stili based on the 1965 census; recommendIng that the Village <br />requestl'etroactlve compensation of funds, based on the 1970 census <br />fIgures. <br /> <br />Clerk AdmInistrator Stromquist was requested by the Council to write <br />a letter to Governor Anderson, requesting this retroactive adjustment; <br />copies of the letter to be sent to Senator Ashbach and to Representa- <br />tives Anderson and Bell. <br /> <br />Treasurer Read recommended that Federal Revenue Sharing program be <br />further Investigated for possible participation by Arden Hills. Mr. <br />Read suggested that the Mayor appoint a committee to work on the <br />matter. <br /> <br />REPORT OF CLERK ADMINISTRATOR LORRAINE STROMQUIST <br /> <br />Legal Fee to Bo~d Attorney <br />L. StromquIst reported to the CouncIl that according to Ehlers and <br />Associates, a separate billing of the legal fee to the bond attorney <br />Is the approved method of billing, and has been considered standard <br />pr~cedur~for the past several years. <br /> <br />Because the bond consultant bill is considerably larger than previously, <br />Mrs. Stromquist was requested to obtain an ItemIzation from the bond <br />attorney. <br /> <br />Clerk-Finance Offlc~r Cqnference <br />Clerk Administrator Stromquist advised the Council that she would <br />not be able to attend the two-day Clerk-Finance Officer Conference, <br />but advised the Council that Tre~surer W.
