Crepeau, Jr., Councilmen S. Olme~, J. Hollenhorst, <br />R. Herrick. <br />Absent - Councilman E.G. Henderson. <br />Also Present - Clerk Administrator l. Stromquist, Attorney V. Courtney, <br />Engineers D. Lund and D. Christoffersen, MaIntenance Super- <br />visor E. Beecher and AssIstant Clerk O. Zehm. <br /> <br /> Ap'proval of Minutes <br />. The Minutes of the Special Council Meet I ng of February I , 1971 were <br />approved as presented. <br /> The Minutes of the Regu I ar Cou nc I I Meet I ng of February 8, 1971 were,d <br /> approved as amended. <br /> <br />I.O.O.F. - Special Use Permit <br />After review of the SpeclaTlrse Permit, prepared by Attorney Courtney, <br />Hollenhorst moved that the Special Use Permit be approved, as sub- <br />mitted, authorizing execution by the Clerk Administrator; authorizing <br />Issuance of the Building Permit In accordance with plans submitted, <br />SUbject to approval of the Building Plans by the State Fire Marshall <br />and the Village Building Inspector; seconded by Herrick. Motion <br />carried unanimOUSly. <br /> <br />Finance Committee Recommendations _ Robert McNlesh <br />Mr. Robert McNlesh presented amended sewer and water rates, as recom- <br />mended by the Finance Committee. <br /> <br />After discussion, Herrick moved that AN ORDINANCE RELATING TO SANI- <br />TARY SEWER RATES AND CHARGES be Introduced by title, approvIng the <br />recommended sewer rate.changes, as submitted In the Finance subcom- <br />mittee report dated February 2, 1971; rate changes to be retroactIve <br />to January I, 1971; seconded by Hollenhorst. MotIon carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Hollenhorst moved that AN ORDINANCE RELATING TO MUNICIPAL WATER RATES <br />AND CHARGES be Introduced by title, approving the recommended weter rete ',; <br />changes, as submitted in the Finance subcommittee report dated April 7, <br />1970; rate changes to be retroactive to January I, 1971; seconded by <br />Olmen. Motion carrlsd unanimously. <br /> <br />Mr. McNiesh agreed to prepare a letter to the residents, explaIning <br />the rate changes, to be enclosed with the next utility bills. <br /> <br />Metro SewQr HQard ~ates \ , <br />Mrs. Stromquist was asked to request the Finance Committee to further <br />explore the Metro Sewer Board rate charges, and to determIne whether <br />or not the arsenal sewer lines are Included In the. COURTNEY <br /> <br />EIVI.w constr~ctlonCo~pan, Contract <br />Attorney Courtney advIsed he Council that the Insurance Certificate <br />and Contract appear to be satiSfactory, except that the Village <br />should probably be Inc!uded as an additlona' Insured; the Per.formance <br />Hondwlll be reviewed as soon as It Is received; insurance coverage <br />limits are In compliance with the recommendations set out in Mr. Orme's <br />letter dated January 30, 1971. <br /> <br />The building specifications and addendums were referred to ,~ttQrney <br />Courtney for his review and report to the Council. <br /> <br />-1- <br />
