Mattila for <br />the 1970 Village audit, for a total fee of $2500.00, Including con- <br />sultation, as outlined; seconded by Hollenhorst. Motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />REPORT OF COUNCILMAN STAN OLMEN - Public Works <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Sewer and WatQr Rate ChanQes <br />Olmen reported that the Public Works Committee agreed with the <br />proposed sewer and water rate changes proposed by the Finance <br />Committee. <br /> <br />SnowplowlnQ <br />The Committee agreed to continue present snowplowing procedures <br />through the balance of the season, at which time they will be reviewed <br />and recommendations made for next season plowing. <br /> <br />Glenpaul Avenue Dralna~e Problem <br />Maintenance Supervisor Beecher was requested to bring the problem before .) <br />the Public Works Committee at the next meeting for it's recommendations. <br /> <br />Maintenance Building Addition <br />The Public Works Committee has approved the building plans for the <br />additIon to the maintenance building, but because plans were not seen <br />nor reviewed by the full current committee, minor change order reqom- <br />mendations wll I be forth-coming. <br /> <br />COnstruction Industry Safety Day <br />Upon recommendatlan of Olmen, Beecher was authorized to attend the <br />Construction Industry Safety Day on Friday, March 12, 1971; $12.50 <br />ticket charge is to be paid from the Public Works Department Budget. <br /> <br />REPORT OF COUNCILMAN RONALD HERRICK - Parks and Recreation, Human Rights, <br />Ordinance Review . <br />Charles Perry Park . <br />Herrick advised the Council that plans for Charles Perry Park will <br />soon be referred to the Planning Commission. He advised the Council <br />that the Parks and Recreation Committee desires to complete the park <br />sufficiently for use this spring. <br /> <br />Feyereisen Sewer DQmagQ Claim <br />Herrick advised the Council that, subject to an addendum to be nego- <br />tiated separately re an Oak tree, the Feyereisen sewer damage claim <br />can be satisfied by payment of $1500.00 which he recommended be paid <br />In accordance with the signed agreement and addendum for SanItary <br />Sewer easments 13-8 and /3-16. <br /> <br />R~PORT OF MAYOR HENRY J. JR. - General Government, Public Safetv. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Hl~hway Patrol ~J.gp~~S Legislation <br />Crepeau advised the Gouncil of a bi II before the Legislature this <br />session, prepared by Attorney Salland, providing for reimbursement <br />TO the Village General Revenue Fund of 3/8 of all Highway Patrol <br />violation receipts. <br /> <br />Statewide Ambulance Service - Mr. PhIl Richards <br />An explanation of statewide ambulance service will be presented to <br />the Council by Mr. Phi I Richards at the March 8, 1971 Council meetIng; <br />meeting *0 begin at 7:30 p.m. <br /> <br />Mrs. Stromquist was requested to extend an Invitation to Village Health <br />Officer, Dr. Robert Dunn, to hear Mr. Richard's presentation. <br /> <br />r <br /> <br />-3- <br />
