Villa~e Hall an4 Maintenance Bui Idin~ AddiTions - ConsideraTion of aids Councilman Henderson moved that the Council accept the low bid from EIView Construction Company, in the amount of $15,141.00. that the alternate bid be rejected; authorizing the Architect to prepare the necessary contracts between the Vi Ilage and the Contractor for Attorney Courtney's approval before execution of the contracts by Village officials. The motion was seconded by Councilman Olmen and carried unanimouSly. . REPORT OF COUNCILMAN STAN OLMEN - Public Works No report. REPORT OF COUNCILMAN RONALD HERRICK - Parks and Recreation, Human Rights, Ordinance Review. Human Rights Commission - Housing Resolution Councilman Herrick advised the Counci I thiit"the Human Rights Commis- sion requests Council endorsement of a resolution, as attached, adopting the Metro Council No. 19 Housing Guidelines for the Village of Arden Hills. Clerk Administrator Stromquist stated that she has reqeusted a copy of the Guidelines from the Metro Council for Council review. The Council referred the Guidelines and Resolution to the Planning Commission for study and recommendations to the Council. REPORT OF MAYOR HENRY J. Councilman Olmen agreed to attend the February 17, 1971 meeting and Councilman E. Gray Henderson agreed to attend the March 11, 1971 meeting. Clerk Administrator StromquIst was requested to take care -of getting a volunteer each month. Le~lslative Action Conference Councilman Herrick volunteered to attend the meeting on March 2, 1971. State Informational Systems Legislation Seminar Clerk Administrator Stromquist was a~thorized by the Counci I to aTtend the State Informational Systems Legislation Seminar on February 11, 1971.
