Oscar Husby, 1800 Snelling Drive, cArno before tne Council to inquire <br />about lot size minimtuns in tne residentlial areas. He has purcnased sone <br />land which ne desires to plat and requested t'tie Council�s recomiriendations <br />as to lot sizes as well as any ner°: changes in the zoning and platting <br />• ordinances. <br />Mr. Jerry Gudim presented a letter to the Council re; the Grotto Club. <br />He asked"that new licenses be iesued to replace the current licenses, in <br />the naine of tne Surf Club, Tne matter was referred to Attorney Courtney <br />and the Village Fire'and Police Departments for their recommendations. <br />'Pheir report is to be given to Gne Council at the meeting on May 9th. <br />Br. Gudim requested that the club be allowed to continue on the present <br />licenses until that t3sne. The request was granted. <br />Attorney's Report <br />Mr. Cour ney reported tnat there is no statute or case to prevent a police <br />officer irom also acting as an of'ficer of a liquor establishment. The <br />Council may dateimine the advisability of this combination of employment <br />and determine tne policy to be followed. <br />He; PE?�A and irielvin Houle, maintenance man of' Sewer Lift Station in Arden <br />•#3 - i�r. Jones reported that Patrick l�cEnroe Blacktopping Co. will surface the <br />parking area at the plaqground on County Road E, as well as doing tne <br />necessary sodding. <br />Mr. Jones repor°ted another accident at the junction b� Iiignways 10 and 51. <br />Fublic Safety Report <br />lir. Cropeau read aspaed report which was made at the intersection of <br />•Hig'r�ways 10 and 51 wherein 297 cars were checked. Cf these 297 cars, <br />43 vrere speeding. Two cars at 60 m.p.h., 3 cars at 65 m..p.h., 1 at 70 m.p. <br />and 1 at 80 m.p.h. �oing north on Highway 51.
