Lemetti is willing to go alcng with decision of <br />• Council and/or enginaer an a fair settle�ent <br />for this resident. <br />5. Council suggested Mr. Lemetti pay one t�a1P of <br />the �90.00 extra, or "�45.00, as a fair <br />settloment. <br />6. P�r.Short of Bannister Engineering Co. will <br />follow through in tnis matter. <br />?�rs. Stromquist advised Council that Mr.Short has suggested the Village <br />have a completa file on roads and plats as plsnned by the Engineera. <br />Also suggested the insestigation and purchase of an adequate map file <br />for the now accumulating sewer maps, etc. <br />Mx. Olmen aeked �ir. Short about the road damage on tha new road where <br />i�azareth Hall is buildin� a high scnool. Re£erred to contractors who <br />can �ive a better picture of this condition when thawing weather is <br />over, <br />Mt�. Short reported that he is trying to reach IvIr. Talbct Jones to <br />confeP over street widths, etc. for the village. <br />Mr. Trobaugh, 2038 Mounds Ave. states that he knows all housea are <br />required to have culverta under their driveways whereas the Jehovah�s <br />• Witness churcri next door to nirn has no culvert in the3r dtiveway. <br />Whe❑ the meetings break up late at night it causes quite a disturbance <br />because of the cara getting stuck in evhat has now turned into a mudhole. <br />I3e would liks soraething done about this. Referred to Olmen. <br />A�s. Elmer Isaksen, 3426 Glen Arden Court presented a petitio❑ to the <br />Council signed by 25 families in his area regu�sting some attention be <br />given to ths roads in their i�.mediate area. Copies of this will t�e <br />sent to all Council members by the �lillage Clerk. Iv1r. Isakaen went on <br />to state that Mr. Caldwell oP the State :3i�hrovay Department has <br />recommended the £ollowing: <br />1. Power �radex c:o light blading. <br />2. Routine grading. <br />3. Crotivn the center of the road. <br />4. Fill chuck holes with sand. <br />D?attar referxed to Ol�en. <br />&�s. Olmen stated that the Village Engineers are drawing up plans for <br />Village roada. He pointed out that R9r. Isaksen and his neighbors were <br />not alone in their road troubles but that the prcblem existed all over <br />• the Ville�e where the sewer projeets have been put in. He also <br />sug�ested that the Couneil does not see the economy of dumping sand <br />and gravel continuallq into the roads only to have none of it rerasinin� <br />when the frost finally gooa out.
