� <br />� <br />Minu#es of �ne Regular Gouncil Meeting ot the Village Council <br />August Ii, 1964 <br />Page Three <br />REPORT OF COUNCILMAN HOLLENHORST, Planning and Zoning <br />Mr. Ward Nanson, member of the Planning Commission, presented the <br />Commission's recommendations regarding cases presented at its Aug- <br />ust 5 meeting. <br />Case No. 69-14, Twin City Trailer Park <br />Councilman Hollenhorst moved, seconded by Councilman Crepeau, con- <br />currence wftrt the recommendation of the Pianning Commission, to deny <br />the Special Use Permit requested by the Twin City Traiter Park to <br />include Lots 19, 20, 2i, 22, 23, 24 and 25, Biock 4 and Lots 4 and <br />5, Btock S, Mounds Center, in the �resent Twin City Trailer Park <br />and to reiocate 6 trailer s3tes to this area, for the foilowing <br />reasons: <br />I. Rdequate recrea�ion Areas have not been provided. <br />2. Fencing as shown does not compty with requirements, causing <br />a tra¢ftc hazard. <br />3. lnclusion of the describod addifiional acreage for traiter <br />locations would be a non-conforming use of the land. <br />Motion carried unanimousiy. <br />Case No. 69-17, Roberts Construction Company <br />Mr. Cliff Lund, Roberts Construction Company, was present and dis- <br />played a site plan and pointed out the proposed locations for the <br />tao buildings they pian to construct in the Industrial Park. <br />Councilman fiollenhorst moved, seconded by Counciiman Crepeau, con- <br />currence with the Planni�g Commission°s recommendation, to approve <br />the Roberts Construction Company site plan, dated July 22, i969, <br />for the location of the 1-wo additionat huildings; motion carrfed <br />unanimousiy. <br />Case No. 69--I5, Skelly 011 Company <br />Councilman Holtenhorst moved, seconded by Councilman Crepeau, con- <br />currence with the recommendation of tho Ptanning Commisslon to approve <br />the Skefly Oil Company amended site plan to include the additfon of <br />2 pump islands twhich was �n o�ersight 3n tha original plan?, and <br />to relocate the landscaping as indicated: motion carried unanimously. <br />Case No. 69-19, Roger E. Luehrs <br />Councilman Holtenhorst moved, seconded by Councilman Crepeau, con- <br />currence with the recommendatfons of the P{anning Commission and <br />the Board of Appeais to approve the variance request of Mr. and Mrs. <br />Roger E. Luehrs, 1967 Edgewater Avenue, to construct an attached <br />garage withln 7 feet of the side property line; motion carried u�- <br />animousiy. <br />Case No. 69-20 Mr. and Mrs. Robert Deizen <br />After some discussion, the Cou�cii requested Clerk Adm€nistrator to <br />� arrange a meeting to be atfie�ded by some of the Planning Commission <br />members and the Dalaens or tneir representative(s) to further dis- <br />cuss the variance requ�sted to perrnit them to construct a 736 square <br />foot house on Grsnt Road. 7he minlmum square foot requirement is <br />865 square feet. <br />� <br />Case No. 69-21 Mr, and Mrs. Charles I_arson <br />Counci(man Hoi{enhorst moved, seconded by Councilman Crepeau, con- <br />currence w(th i-he Pianning Commission's and the Board of Appeals <br />recommendations to approve the vartance request of Mr, and Mrs. <br />Charles Larson fio permit the construction of a house on Forest Lane <br />wiYh a 5 foot froni- setback variancs at the northwest corner; motion <br />carried unanimously. <br />- 3 - <br />
