Courtney, Village Engineer <br />Donald Lund, Mainte�ance Supervisor Everett E3eecher, Clerk <br />Administrator Lorrafne Stromquist and Deputy Clerk Florence <br />M, Honan <br />Approvai of Minutes <br />The minutes of the Regular Council Meeting of April 28, 1969 were ap- <br />proved as amended. <br />BUSINESS FROM THE FLOOR <br />Thom Drive Sewer PetPtion <br />Ralph Perry, 3672 New Brighton Road, presented a petition tor sewer <br />from the Thom Drive residents, which inciuded thirteen of the possible <br />nineteen signatures. <br />Mr. Perry informad the councii that the residents who signed the petition <br />were also anxious for the water improvement. <br />Councilman Hollenhorst moved, seconded by Counciiman Crepeau, that <br />E3a�ister Engineering Company be directed to prepare and submit a <br />feasi6ility report for a sewer and water improvement for the New Brighton <br />Road and Thom Drive area; motion carried unanimously.(��a�-��+-�-e--� <br />Councli requested Attorney Courtney to attempt to get cost free ease- <br />ments across three parcels on Nudson Avenue, which tnvolves two owners. <br />Fle felt this shouid be considered as only thrae residents wil! be <br />serviced. <br />James Circle - Street Improvement Request <br />James Johnson, developer of Valentine Lake Piat No, 2, requested the <br />improvement of the James Circle Road in this plat, whlch has been graded <br />and has a small amount of gravel base. <br />After some dfscussfon, the councPl requested Mr. Johnson to confer <br />with EngPneer Lund regarding spectficatto�s and contractors; CEerk <br />Administrator to review the flie for thPs plat regarding road 9mprove- <br />ments. <br />. Red Fox Road UtTlities Inquiry <br />Ciiff Lund, Roberts Constructton <br />sewer on Red Fox Road. Enginear <br />on a mid-summer bid letting for <br />6e included in the bid. <br />� . ...._ � l�.v J. . .'_ _ <br />Company, inqutred as to the status of <br />Lund stated that the county is pianning <br />the road improvement; utitities wi11 <br />PAou�ds Avenue Improvement <br />Alvin Roesler, 1964 Mounds Avenue, inquired as to the status of the <br />proposed improvement of Mounds Avenue. Mayor BJorndahl intormed him <br />that only one resident respended to the (mprovement notfce sent to <br />the residents. <br />E�gineer lund informed him that Mounds Rvenue cannot be extended to <br />the sarvice road because of the private property lying between the <br />two roads. <br />• <br />
