VILLAGE OF A�dN HILLS <br />NQTICE OF HSARIATG OAT SUPPLEMENTAL <br />i�EASSSSSMEIda' AND REAPPORTIONMENT <br />FOR STREfiT IMPROVEMENT NO. 5 <br />NOiICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Villaga Council of the <br />Village o£ Arden Sills, Minnesota, will meet in the Council <br />Chambers of the Viliage Hall in said VilZage on Tuesday, August 6, <br />1963, at 8:00 o`clock P.M. to hear. consider, and pass upon all <br />written or oral ohjections, if any, to proposed �upplemental <br />• assessments, reassessments and apportionmen� of previous assess- <br />inents in respect to Street Improvement No. 5, said original <br />hearinq being held on October 25, 1962 and said assesement roli <br />as amended being adopted oatober 29, 1962 end certified to the <br />County Auditor on November 30, 1962, upon properties here�ofore <br />determined to be assessable therefor, The assessment roll as <br />amended and adopte8 october 24, 1962 is on file and open to public <br />inspection by all persons interested, in the office of the Village <br />Clerk and was c�rtified to the County Auditor on PJovember 30, <br />1962. Amounts assessed against any parcel of land are payable <br />in 10 equal, consecutive annual installments, the first of such <br />installments payable with general taxes for the year 1962, <br />collectible with such taxes during the year 1963. The first <br />installments payable wieh interest at the rate of 5% per anmun <br />from the assessment oE October 29, 1962 to December 31, 1962 <br />and each eubsequent 3natallment payable with one yesr's interest <br />at said rate. No interest was charged if said assessment was <br />paid at the office of the Village Treasurer within 30 days from <br />the date of the adoption of �he assessment roll. <br />The purpo�e of said hearing is to make supplementary <br />assessments to correct omiasions, errors or mistakes in the original <br />assessment; proposed reassessments and apportionments of assess- <br />ments on parcels of property that have subsequently been p].atted <br />and sexbdivided sinee the original asseasment. A list of all of the <br />lots and parcela oflan@ as to which itis proposed to make <br />such supplemental assessments, reassessments and reapportionment <br />is on Eile and open to public inspection by all persons interested, <br />in the office of the Village Clerk. <br />The general nature of Strest Imvrovement No. 5 consisted <br />of the grading and surfacing of the village streets described <br />below, including the construction of storm sewers necessary and <br />incidental thereto. The area included in the original assessment <br />roll certified to the County Auditor ofe�amsey County included <br />each lot and parcel ofland abutting on a street deeignated <br />• below or any portion thereof, or situated within a platte8 <br />one-half block abutting on such street or portion therea£r <br />Glenpaul Avenue frwn Cleveland Avenue to New Brighton Road. <br />Edqewater Avenue from 300 feet west of Prior Avenue to i�ew <br />Brighton Road. <br />3errold Avenue fran 300 feet west of Prior Avenue to New <br />Brighton Road, <br />Prior Avenue from County ztoad "D" to 150 feet north of <br />Jerrold Avenue. <br />Beckman Avenue from New Brighton ac>ad to Lake Johanna 81vd. <br />Shorewood Drive fran County Road "D" north to its terminue. <br />
