He or she may also impose conditions upon the issuance of a license to <br /> <br /> <br />ensure compliance with this Section or other applicable parts of the City Code or State law, and <br /> <br /> <br />to protect the health and safety of others. <br /> <br />420.03 Issuance and Conditions of License. If approved, the license shall be issued by the City <br /> <br />Administrator. The license shall specify any restrictions deemed reasonably necessary to protect <br /> <br />any person or neighboring use from unsanitary conditions, unreasonable noise or odors, or other <br /> <br />unreasonable annoyance, and to protect the public health and safety. The license may be modified <br /> <br />from time to time, or suspended or revoked by the local animal control officer for failure to <br /> <br />comply with the restrictions imposed upon the license. Any modification, suspension, or <br /> <br />revocation shaH be effective only following at least ten (10) days notice to the licensee and an <br /> <br />opportunity for the licensee to be heard. <br /> <br />420.04 Denial of License. The local animal control officer may deny an application for a license <br /> <br /> <br />under this Section for failure to provide required information; failure to comply with the <br /> <br /> <br />provisions of this Section, the license, or other applicable State or local regulation; if the facilities <br /> <br />are or become inadequate for their intended use; if a nuisance is or would be created; or if the <br /> <br />public's health or safety is or would be unreasonably endangered by the granting of the license. <br /> <br />The denial of a license under this Section shall be appealable to the City Council. <br /> <br />420.05 Fees. The fee for either an initial application for or a renewal of a license issued under <br /> <br />this Section shaH be as set from time to time by the Council.. <br /> <br />4 - 15 <br />
