(t:iote: This subsection was added by Ciry) The persons listed <br /> <br />below, as employees or agents of the City, shall have the power to issue summonses incorporating <br /> <br />complaints in the fonn adopted by the courts. Any issuance by those listed below shall relate only <br /> <br />to offenses involving this Code, building construction, building operation or maintenance. fire and <br /> <br />fire prevention, public health and sanitation, and zoning. No employee or agent authorized to <br /> <br />issue a summons under this subsection shall be authorized to arrest or otherwise take an alleged <br /> <br />violator into custody or to secure a promise to appear in court in lieu of arrest. The employees <br /> <br />or agents who shall be au thorized to issue summonses under this subsection shall be as follows: <br /> <br />a. Building Inspector <br /> <br />b. Fire Chief and Assistant Fire Chief <br /> <br />c. Community Service Officer <br /> <br />d. Health Officer <br /> <br />e. Plumbing Inspector <br /> <br />f. Mechanical Inspector <br /> <br />g. Electric Inspector <br /> <br />h. Other Employees or agents as shall from time to time be authorized by the Council. <br /> <br />State law reference-Penalties for violation of ordinances, Minn.
