Sinoe additional hours of <br /> patrolling, planned. for 1966, will neoessitate 2 squad cars, the <br /> committee recommends repairing the present squad oar andpurohasing <br /> a new one. Trustee Nethercut moved that Attorney Courtney reView <br /> the speoifications and prepare the notioe of adVertisement for bids. <br /> Seconded by Trustee BJorndahl, oarried. T.I;le date for opening of <br /> bids was tentatively soheduled for December 27. Trustee B'jornda.\l1 <br /> suggested mailing the speoifioations to oar dealers in the area to <br /> encourage more bidders. <br /> Mid Decade Census <br /> The population of Arden Hills as determined by the mid-deoade census <br /> is ~,~36.' Attorney Courtney was requested to make theoffioial <br /> certification of the mid-deoade oensus to the Seoretary of State. <br /> ENGINEER LUND'S REPORT <br /> Hvidsten Property Repair <br /> Engineer Lund reported that for $330.00 the trees can be out down, <br /> necessary blaok dirt plaoed, and the area sodded.. The Council agreed <br /> this was a reasonable solution to the problem and requested that <br /> Engineer Lund present this proposal to Mr. Hvidsten. <br /> Playground Storm Sewer ProJeot <br /> Engineer Lund reported that the storm sewer oonstruction wascom- <br /> plete. connections have been made. and except for a few minor details, <br /> this project is completed, Additional airt will.be required to cover <br /> the pipe in 'some areas. Engineer Lund was requested to try to have <br /> the dirt in place before spring. <br /> -' ~ntr<lnce to County Road F Playgrounq <br /> . A letter dated November IS, from Engineer Ank1an (County) was read <br /> stating that if a proper culvert is furnished. by the Village, the <br /> County ,,,ill construct an entranoe to the area.
