Worth G. <br />Read; Police ~h1ef Victor Weber. <br /> <br />PUBLIC HLARINGS <br /> <br />-. <br /> <br />B~ning - County Hoad ~ and Highway #51 <br />Mayor Kennedy desoribed the looatioh of the Lot located on the northwest <br />corner of County Road E and Highway #51, and stated thet the hearing <br />was being held to rezone this property from Conu'lercial to Residential, R-l, <br />as recommended by the Planning COIlllIlission. <br /> <br /> <br />a <br /> <br />Clerk read a mamo from Carl Dale, Village Planner, which gave many reasons <br />for rezoning. <br /> <br />The following residents were present and spoke in favor of the rezoning: <br />Robert Jenal, Ch&irman of the Planning COIllmission; Mrs. Carolyn Tissol. <br />3568 Siems Court; Mrs. Andrew Kuehn 111, 3581 Ridgewood Road; WalesI' Mack, <br />1541 Oak Aven'le. spolt:e also for F. Brant Kre tsch, 15.35 Oak Avenue; Mrs. <br />James nelsey, 3541 Ridgewood Road; Mrs. John Keiser, 35G4 N. Snelling Ave. <br /> <br />Mayor Kennedy then inquired if anyone present W~B opposed to the rezoning- <br />no response. <br /> <br />Mayor Kennedy moved that the foilowing descr ibed prope!'ty: <br /> <br />Lot two, Block 4, Shady Oaks Addition, according to the plat <br />thereof on file end of record in the office of the Rcrcister <br />of Deeds of Ramsey County, ~ <br /> <br />be rezoned from Commercial to Residential, R-l, and authoI'ized the Village <br />Attorney to start proceedings to amend the Zoning Ordinance accordi~gly; <br />seconded by Trustee Lang; motion carriedwo,,',......,....', .~. <br /> <br />Perry Plat <br />Dick Jones presented copies of the Perry Plat to members of the <br />Taxes, assessments, sewer and water facilities were discussed. <br />Lund stated that Banister Engineering Co. is satisfied with the <br /> <br />Council. <br />Engr. <br />plat. <br /> <br />Clerk Lorraine stromquist stated that the notice of the Public Hearing <br />had been publiShed in the New Brighton Bulletin on December 31, 1964. <br /> <br />Mayor Kennedy ask ed if anyone present had any comments either 1'0%' or against <br />the plat - no response. <br /> <br />- . Mr. Jones informed the Council that he wili bring in a statement showing <br />that the taxes are paid, and requested a variance concerning the assess= <br />ments. <br /> <br />Mayor Kennedy moved approval of the Perry Plat and the granting of a <br />variance to the~?~p~ng Ordinance to permit the re-apportionment of <br />aSsessments and~o-pay all costs incurred for the re-apportionment; <br />seconded by Trustee Crepeau; motion carried. <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />REPORT OF ATTY. COURTNEY <br /> <br />Financial Aid to Recreational P~ograms <br />Atty.
