Mr. Hellegers rcplied that language could be includcd. Commissioner Holmcs asked if thc signs would be taken down after every game. She statcd she would prefer if they be taken down. Mr. Nick Temali, Mounds Vicw School District, rcplied their stadium had a gamc or event every night of thc wcck, so to take banncrs down daily would bc a burden to turn around and put them up again a few hours later. Hc stated they likcd the languagc whcre they would takc thcm in at thc end of thc fall scason and be brought back out again in the spring for the spring events. Chair Sand asked if thcy wanted this limitcd to only cdueational institutions and if so thcy should say cducational institutions. Commissioner Larson noted he belicvcd thcy should limit this to thc thrce educational institutions (Mounds Vicw High School, NOIthwestcrn College, and Bethel Collcgc) noting his concern that there could bc advcrtising at Valentincs Elcmcntary if they said cducational institution. Chair Sand rcquested staff obtain the City"s attorney opinion to dctcrmine if the City was allowcd to limit the type of educational institution whcre signage would be permittcd. . REPORTS A.
