Commissioner Zimmcmlan moved, second cd by Commissioner Larson to approvc the <br /> April 6, 2005 minutes as amcndcd. <br /> The motion carried unanimously (6-0). <br /> PUBLIC HEARINGS <br /> A. PLANNING CASE #05-10 - RAMSEY COUNTY, RAMSEY COUNTY & <br /> PARTNERS PUBLIC \-VORKS FACILITY AND SHERIFF STATION, 1425 PAUL <br /> KIRKWOLD DRIVE: SIGN STANDARD ADJUSTMENT (CONTINUED FROM <br /> 4/6/(5) <br /> Mr. Hellcgcrs stated applicants were requesting a Sign Standard Adjustment from the <br /> Signagc Ordinance critcria tt)r a frcestanding monumcnt sign. <br /> Hc notcd at the April 6lh Planning Commission mceting, the Commission rcviewed the <br /> originally proposed sign plans which were included in the PC packet, a slightly revised <br /> sign plan which was included in the PC packet, and wcre shown another potential design <br /> at the meeting. Thc applicant had now submittcd plans for the design, which wcre shown <br /> to the Planning Commission at their April 6lh meeting. The plans show a sign that was <br /> significantly shorter and longer but maintains thc same sizc of the signage. The reduction <br /> to the hcight of the sign allowcd thc proposed sign to meet that requirement, leaving the <br />. maximum size of the sign as thc only variance; a variance of approximately 130 squarc <br /> feet. <br />
