<br />ARDEN HILLS CITY COUNCIL - JANUARY 8, 2007 4 <br />Councilmember Holden asked when the assessment would be due. Ms. Giga responded the <br />assessment \vould be due 30 days at the City Hall after the property was assessed without <br />interest. After that time period, the payment would be due to the County with interest. <br />Councilmember Holden stated she had rcceived an email regarding concern about a large <br />assessment. Ms. Giga responded that person might have been getting their figures confused with <br />the commercial assessments. <br />Ms. Giga recommended Council use the contractor's bid prices and not the engineer's estimates. <br />Councilmember Grant asked if the full-depth mill and overlay was better or longer than the 20- <br />year period. Ms. Giga responded it should last longer, but there were some sub-grade problem <br />on the strcets where they were proposing a full-depth mill and overlay. <br />Councilmember Holmes suggested for the final report, they distinguish between the three <br />different types ofrepairs made on the road. She noted a color coded map would be helpful. <br />Councilmember McClung asked how large of a mill and overlay project did Roseville have. <br />Ms. Giga rcsponded it was approximately the same size as Arden Hills' project. <br />MOTION: Councilmember Grant moved and Councilmember McClung seconded a motion <br /> to adopt Resolution No. 07-21 Receiving the Feasibility Rep0l1 for the 2007 PMP <br /> Project and Ordering the Public Hearing for January 29, 2007. The motion carried <br /> unanimously (5-0). <br />B. TCAAP <br />l\ls. Barton updated on thc Council on recent TC AAP developments. <br />9. COUNCIL REQUESTS <br /> A. Ms. \-Volfe announced the Mounds View Dance Team was hosting a winter dance <br /> contest on January 27, 2007 from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. She noted they \vere <br /> struggling with having sufficient parking and thcrefore some on-street parking would <br /> be necessary. She stated the Sheriffs Department \vould be prcscnt to control the <br /> traffic. <br /> B. Mayor Harpstead announced that on January 16,2007 there was going to be an <br /> Arden Hills Town Hall Mecting. <br />
