He could complete the reports at thc job site, <br /> Councilmember Holden asked why the general supply budgct doubled from last year. <br /> Accounting Analyst Michelle Bmley said tbat City staff combined the different dep:.utmental <br /> supply budgets into one line item located in the administration budget. General officc supplies <br /> are no longcr budgcd in multiple departments, so there are ofT-setting decreases. <br /> Councilmember Holden recommended that the City's contribution to Northwest Youth and <br /> Family Scrvices bc rcduced by SLOOO, <br /> Councilmember Larson said that he is comfortable with this recommendation as long as thc <br /> City's overall annual contribution amount does not decrease. <br /> Councilmember Holden requested that the 1-35W Con-idor Coalition membership fees be <br /> removed from the 2007 budget. <br /> Councilmember Larson said that he is comfortable with the City remaining a member of the I- <br /> 35W COITidor Coalition. <br /> Councilmember Holden said that she is concerned that the levy will remain at 6(% for 2007, <br /> Councilmember Larson said that he is comfortable with a 6%) levy for 2007. <br /> Mayor Aplikowski stated that she also supports a 6% levy, <br /> Mayor Aplikowski rccommended that additional funding be budgcted for residential improving <br /> communications with the residents, <br /> Councilmember Larson recommended that additional funding be used for public safety, PIR, and <br /> park improvements, <br /> City Administrator Wolfc provided the City Council with an ovcrview of the proposed changes <br /> to the 2007 budget: <br /> . Northwest Youth & Family Services contribution reduced by S 1 ,000, resulting in a S4,00O <br /> contribution. <br /> . $5,000 budgeted [or a Needs Assessmcnt for Arden Hills Firc Station #1. <br /> . $10,500 included for a City wide survcy. <br /> . Celebrating Arden Hills (expenditure and revenue) was removed from the 2007 Proposed <br /> Budget. <br /> 8 <br />
