CITY OF ARDEN HILLS COUNTY OF RAMSEY STATE OF MINNESOTA RESOLUTION No. 06-52 RESOLUTIONS CERTIFYING 2006 MUNICIPAL ELECTION CANVASS RESULTS WHEREAS, the City of Arden Hills held its General Election on November 7,2006; and WHEREAS, Minnesota Statute 205.185, Subd. 3, requires that thc City Council canvass the results of the election within scven (7) days of the election; and WHEREAS, the City Council met on November 13,2006 as an item of business at a City Council meeting, as a canvassing board to review the results of the election. THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Arden Hills, Minnesota, that voting for the office of Mayor, where there was one to be elected a four-year term at the November 7, 2006 General Election, held in and for said City, has been in all respects, duly canvassed by this City Council in accordance with the law. It is hereby found and determined that the total votes cast upon thc officcs for each candidates at said elcction were as follows: MAYOR # Votes Stan Har stead 2,138 Bevcrl A likowski 1,971 Write In Votes 17 THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by thc City Council of thc City of Arden Hills, Minnesota, that voting for the office of City Council, whcre thcre wcre two to be elected a four-year terms at the November 7,2006 General Election, held in and for said City, has been in all respects, duly canvassed by this City Council in accordance with the law.
