The EOC may be partially activateq due to a potential threat to Iile <br /> or property from severe weathcr (e.g. tornado, blizzard); hazardous <br /> materials incident/accident that is beyond the capabilities of field <br /> operations; or pipeline lcak, <br /> '") the EOC may be fully actiy~~c;.d. in response to a major <br /> emergency/disastcr resulting in an actual threat to lifc and property, <br /> This will include, but is not limited to: a tornado touchdown or <br /> pipeline leak which causes damage to the public or private sector <br /> and requircs a coordinated response effort; a hazardous materials <br /> incident/accidcnt involving he response of sevcral agencies <br /> (including county, federal, or state as well as surrounding <br /> municipalitics) or enemy attack. <br /> Responsibilities for EOC Activation <br /> In the event of a major disastcr, EOC staff would be expected to <br /> automatically report to the EOe. However, the New Brighton Emergency <br /> Management Director is responsible f(x ensuring that the EOC is activatcd <br /> according to the criteria described above, <br /> EOC Starting I <br /> EOC Staffing lists arc on file with the New Brighton Emcrgeney <br /> Management Director and includes: <br /> . Mayor <br /> . City Administrator <br /> . Emergency Management Director/Director of Publie Safety <br /> . City Planner <br /> . City Attorney <br /> . City Engineer <br /> . Public Works Director <br /> . Parks and Recreation Dircctor <br /> . Police Representative <br /> .
