BACKGROUND <br /> Staff' has continued to revie\v and revise the City's Capital Improvement Plan (eIP) based upon <br /> previous direction from Council and fut1her financial analysis. Attached is the current CIP <br /> worksheet. Stall is providing an update to Council prior to bringing the CIP forward for <br /> approval, which is scheduled for the January 29, 2007 Council meeting. <br /> DISCUSSION <br /> The following nalTative summarizes the changes made to the elf> since the last discussion with <br /> the Council, which include updates to the proposed Pavement J\lanagement Program (PMf>) <br /> projects. For the benefit of the new Council members, the narratives from the CIP discussions <br /> that OCCUlTed at May, July and August 2006 work sessions have been attached. <br /> 2007 Projects <br /> 2007 PMP Mill iJnd Overlay: <br /> As discussed at previous Council meetings and in the feasibility report, the 2007 Pl\iIP <br /> was expanded to include the streets proposed for the 2009 PMP. Some of the streets <br /> originally suggested for mill and overlay arc now bcing recommended for seal coats. Spot <br /> utility rcpair has been incorporated into the projects, including items such as gate valve <br /> repair, catch basin/manhole improvements, and sanitary sewer pipe repair.
