<br /> Non-Agenda for Week Ending Friday, Dccember 15,2006 <br /> Mayor and City Council <br /> Page 2 <br /> . <br /> City of Arden Hills is seeking volunteers for the City's various committees and commissions. If <br /> you know of someone that may be interested in serving on a committee or commission, please <br /> have them contact Schawn (651-634-5125) or visit the City's web site for application materials. <br /> The deadline for submitting application materials is Decembcr 22nd, but the City will accept <br /> applications until all open positions are filled. <br /> On December 12th, Greg Hoag, Deb Bloom and Klis Giga hosted a neighborhood meeting for <br /> the 2007 PMP project. Twelve residents signed in, but about 15-18 residents attended. City staff <br /> revicwed the City's Pavement Managemcnt Program as a whole, and then more specifically <br /> discussed the proposed street improvcments. Questions generally revolved around how the <br /> costs/assessmcnts were divided, whcther work was warranted on some of the streets, and the <br /> duration of constmction or disruption in the neighborhoods. We emphasized the fact that no <br /> decision has been madc for improvcments to these streets; these streets arc currently only under. <br /> consideration in the feasibility report. City staff informed thc residents that Counci I will act on <br /> this project at the time of the public hearing. The CUITent schedule is to present the feasibility <br /> report at thc January 8 council meeting, and sct the publ ic hearing for the January 29 council <br /> meeting. <br /> On Dccember I i'\ City staff met with MnDOT representativcs to discuss the 1-694 project in <br /> preparation for Monday night's work session. City staff also discussed access to the interstate <br /> system with the potential development ofTCAAP. . <br /> Public Works crews arc investigating two possible \vater main breaks. At this time, both of the <br /> breaks appear to be small leaks. The first leak is located on County Road E near the east <br /> intersection ofConncly Ave. The second break is near 3750 Dunlap St. As of Thursday moming, <br /> Public Works crcws are accessing both of these issues and are working on a repair plan. The <br /> tentative repair plan is for City statIto repair the water main leak on Dunlap Street this Friday <br /> aHemoon, amI to complete repairs on County Road E over the weekend. The repair on County <br /> Road E is tentatively scheduled to take plan on Saturday. <br /> Attachments: <br /> .
