This program includes inspccting elm and oak trecs for disease disruption, root b>rafts, and the <br /> removal and proper disposal of diseased trees and wood. According to the City Tree Inspector, an <br /> incident of Dutch Elm Disease was found on your property. . <br /> The removal of the diseased or dying tree(s) is the responsibility of the property owner. The affected <br /> trees are marked with a red paint stripe. The property owner has ten days to remove the trce(s) before <br /> the City Tree Inspector will re-inspect the property. Thc entire tree should be removed from the <br /> property. Any remaining wood must bc debarked. If the tree(s) is not rcmoved within this timeframe, <br /> the City may authorize its contractor to start the rcmoval process.
