This program includes inspecting elm and oak trees for disease dismption, root grafts, and the <br /> rcmoval and proper disposal of diseased trees and wood, According to the City Tree Inspector, an <br /> incident of Dutch Elm Disease was found on your property. . <br /> The rcmoval of the diseased or dying tree(s) is the responsibility of the property owner. The affected <br /> trees are marked with a red paint stripe. The property owner has ten days to remove the tree(s) before <br /> the City Tree Inspector will re-inspect the propcrty. The entire tree should be removed from the <br /> property. Any remaining wood must be debarked. If the tree(s) is not rcmoved within this timeframe, <br /> the City may authorize its contractor to start the removal process.
