Over the last few months, Stan"has been preparing thc Zoning Ordinancc for re-codification and <br /> to incorporate it as Chapter 13 of the City Code. Unlike the sign regulations, changcs to the <br /> zoning regulations requirc a public hearing. This mcmo outlines the proposed updates and <br /> modifications to thc zoning regulations. <br /> Much ofthc updating process was needcd to bring thc zoning regulations into confoffilancc with <br /> State Statutes, incorporate past zoning ordinance changes/additions, and to clarify certain <br /> sections of the zoning regulations. Therc are a few proposed changes that, while not required, <br /> are being recommended to resolve ongoing issues and to implemcnt common planning practices. <br /> At this time, Staff is not rccommending any changcs to the zoning districts, lot sizes, uses, <br /> impervious coveragc limits, or setbacks. The primary goal of this proccss is to clean up the <br /> zoning regulations and to providc everyone with a clean copy.
