This program includcs inspecting elm and oak trees for diseasc dislllption, root grafts, and thc <br />rcmoval and proper disposal of diseased trees and wood. According to the City Tree Inspector, an <br />incident of Dutch Elm Discase was found on your property. . <br />The removal of the diseased or dying trce(s) is thc responsibility of the property owner. The affected <br />trees are marked with a red paint stripe. The property owner has ten days to rcmove the tree(s) beforc <br />the City Tree Inspector will re-inspcct the property. The entire tree should be removed from the <br />property. Any remaining wood must be dcbarkcd. If the tree(s) is not removed within this timcframe, <br />the City may authorize its contractor to start the rcmoval process.
