This program includcs inspecting elm and oak trees for disease disruption, root grafts, and the <br />removal and proper disposal of diseased trees and wood. Aecording to the City Tree Inspector, an <br />incident of Dutch Elm Disease was found on your property. <br />The removal of the discased or dying lrec(s) is the responsibility of the property owner. The affected . <br />trees are marked with a red paint stripe. The property owner has ten days to remove the tree(s) before <br />the City Tree Inspector will re-inspcct the property. The entire tree should be removed from the <br />property. Any remaining wood must be dcnarked. If the trcc(s) is not removed \vithin this timcframe, <br />the City may authorize its contractor to start the removal process.
