Bidding Phase Roseville wi II provide bidding phase services inclUtling submittal of advertisements for bids, bidding documents, address contractor questions, issue addcndums, and assist in conducting the bid opening. Ro~cville will check the bids, provide detailed bid tabulation, and provide a recommendation of award to City Council. Construction Phase Rosevillc will provide consll1lction services. The services will include contract administration, field inspections, construction meetings, and coordinate construction staking. Constmction testing will be coordinated by Rnseville but will be provided by others and will be billed directly to Arden Hills by the firm performing the work. Field Survey Field surveying will be completed for the project during both the preliminary and final design phases of the project as wdl as for construction activities. It is anticipated that the design survey will include a three point survey of pavements in specified intervals as wel1 as any topographic points which will be impacted by this project. Also, all existinr, utilities within the project limits will be located in order to verify location and elevation. This information will be used for the project and wi1l be included into . City's overall utility database. Construction surveying will include a layout of the centerline of roadway for full depth mil1 and overlay locations only. AI1 survey information will be based upon the Ramsey COllnty Coordinate Systell1 in order to alIow casy correlation with City GIS mapping infonnation. ESTI:VIATED COSTS We propose that the basic services identified above be completed on a percentage of constmetion cost basis consistent with the terms of our Professional Services Agreement. The budgeted construction costs for the project incluue approximately $562,000 of roadway improvements, 520,000.00 in storm drainage improvements and S20,OOO.OO in sanitary improvements, and $20,000.00 in watellllain improvements. The current estimate of the total construction costs for the project is approximately $622,000.00. Estimated Engineering Fl'l's The City of Rosevilk will bill the City of Arden Hills based on actual time spent (J.9 multiplier). The estimated cost for engineering services on this project is $93,300. Dir'l'cl EXJ><.'nses Direct expenses for the projt:ct include items such as mileage, parking, photography, printing and delivery services. Expenses are anticipated to include geotechnical consultant (52,000) printing and distribution of plans and speci ficat ions ($1,500), construction materials testing ($2,000) and mileage ($1,000). The total estimated arnollnt for direct expenses is S6,500.00. .
