<br />~ <br />~ <br />Q <br /> <br />D. Conditional Use Permit for the Exterior Storage of an RV /SPT. <br /> <br />1. A Conditional Use Permit is required for the exterior storage of an <br />RV/SPT in the following circumstances: <br /> <br />a. The RV /SPT exceeds seven (7) feet in height. <br /> <br />b. The RV/SPT is between twenty-eight (28) feet and thirty-four <br />(34) feet in length. <br /> <br />c. Lot size, lot dimensions, topographic features, and/or structure <br />locations make it unfeasible to store an R V/SPT in the side or rear <br />yard. <br /> <br />2. Conditional Use Permit Evaluation Criteria. The City shall follow <br />the Conditional Use Permit process in Section 1355.03 Subd 3 in this <br />Zoning Code. A Conditional Use Permit shall also meet the following <br />criteria: <br /> <br />a. A residential lot shall be limited to no more than one (1) <br />Conditional Use Permit for a RV/SPT. <br /> <br />b. The RV /SPT shall be at least ten (10) feet from any side or rear <br />property line unless the side or rear property line is adjacent to a <br />public street. A RV/SPT shall be at least forty (40) feet from side <br />or rear property lines that are adjacent to a public street (i.e. <br />corner or through lots). <br /> <br />c. If the lot size, lot dimensions, topographic features, and/or <br />structure locations make it unfeasible to store an RV/SPT in the <br />side or rear yard, no more than one (1) RV/SPT may be permitted <br />forward of the principle structure. Under no circumstances shall <br />the RV/SPT be stored closer than twenty (20) feet to the front <br />property line. <br /> <br />d. The unique circumstances of each lot shall be considered to <br />determine the most appropriate storage location. Where possible, <br />the RV/SPT should be stored as close to the principle structure as <br />possible so as to reduce the visual impact of the RV/SPT. <br /> <br />e. The City may require screening (fencing, trees, other <br />vegetation, etc) to reduce the visual impact of the RV/SPT. <br /> <br />f. The City may require a neutral colored cover for the RV/SPT <br />to reduce the visual impact of the RV/SPT. <br /> <br />3 <br />
