<br />.. <br /> <br />~ <br />~H1LLS <br /> <br />MEMORANDUM <br /> <br />DATE: <br /> <br />May 9, 2007 <br /> <br />Agenda Item: 4.F. <br /> <br />TO: Michelle Wolfe, City Administrator <br />Honorable Mayor and City Council Members <br /> <br />FROM: Michelle Olson, Parks and Recreation Manager J(.1cP <br /> <br />SUBJECT: Resolution No. 07-54: Appointing John Peck to serve on the Parks, Trails, and <br />Recreation Committee. <br /> <br />Backl!found <br />The City Council officially appointed Joani Werner and Wallace "Joe" Nosek to the Parks, Trails <br />and Recreation Committee (PTRC) at the Regular City Council Meeting on April 30, 2007. <br />Unfortunately, Wallace "Joe" Nosek informed the City that his job schedule has changed and he <br />will be unable to serve on the committee. The panel consisting of Greg Hoag, Public Works <br />Director; Bill Henry, Committee Chairperson; David McClung, City Council Liaison; and <br />Michelle Olson, Parks and Recreation Manager interviewed five candidates on April 19, 2007. <br />The remaining candidates are: <br /> <br />tv1r. Charles Kachei <br />Mr. John Peck <br />Mr. Harold Peterson <br /> <br />After the review, the panel is recommending appointment of Mr. John Peck of 1740 Chatham <br />Avenue. John's application has been included for your review. <br /> <br />Staff Recommendations <br />Staff recommends approval of Resolution Number 07-54: Appointing John Peck to serve on the <br />Parks, Trails, and Recreation Committee. <br />
