This Emergency Operations Plan will be exercised at least annually: <br /> <br />. Orientation and table top: November of each year <br /> <br />. Full Scale: May of each year <br /> <br />. Functional (notification and warning): Monthly <br /> <br />. Functional: Notification of key personnel: Each Sunday at 1300. <br /> <br />. Should an actual emergency or disaster occur, the full-scale <br />exercise may be cancelled. Every effort will be made to ensure that <br />the County will participate in a regional exercise each year, and that <br />may cause adjustments to this schedule. <br /> <br />. Individual municipalities may choose to exercise all or part of the <br />plan at their own discretion. Schedules of municipal exercises are <br />available from the municipal emergency management directors. <br /> <br />PRIORITIES <br /> <br />Areas that will be targeted for early utility and other service restoration are: <br /> <br />1. Areas used by dependent populations <br /> <br />(Nursing homes, childcare facilities, schools and offices, routes of <br />egress and ingress, animal resources, shelter and relocation <br />venues.) <br /> <br />2. Infrastructure critical to health and safety <br /> <br />(Emergency communications, law enforcement, fire suppression <br />and protection, medical facilities, energy systems, sites containing <br />potential hazards, utilities, food supplies, etc). <br /> <br />3. Infrastructure that sustains the emergency response <br /> <br />(Computer, Internet, data and voice telecommunications systems, <br />transportation systems, etc.) <br /> <br />4. Governmental administrative buildings and other facilities (governmental <br />and private sector) necessary to protect the economic viability of the <br />county, municipalities, and our citizens. <br /> <br />6 <br />
