<br />RV's length, the CUP application could not be approved and, subsequently, the Plauning <br />Commission unanimously recommended denial of the CUP application to the City Council. <br /> <br />The City Council received the Planning Commission's recommendation at their April 30, <br />2007, meeting. Upon review ofthe Zoning Code regulations, the City Council unanimously <br />agreed with 1he Planning Commission's interpretation of the Zoning Code regarding how the <br />length of an R V should be measured. <br /> <br />While the City Council did not overturn the Planning Commission's recommendation of <br />denial for the CUP application, the Council did vote (3-2) to remand the CUP application <br />back to the Plauning Commission for further review. The application was remanded back to <br />the Plauning Commission because the applicants stated that they would remove the <br />nonconforming RV and obtain a different RV that does not exceed the 34 foot length limit. <br />The Council determined that the application should be reviewed again based on the <br />applicants' revised request. According to the Code Enforcement Officer, the applicants have <br />removed the nonconforming RV from their property. <br /> <br />2. Overview of Request: <br /> <br />While the RV will change from the previous version of this CUP application, the request is <br />essentially the same. The application is now a general request to store an R V that is between <br />28 feet and 34 feet long. The applicants are waiting to purchase a different RV pending the <br />results of the revised conditional use permit application; therefore, a specific R V has not yet <br />been selected. Since the proposed replacement RV will not exceed 34 feet, the Plauning <br />Commission can consider approving this revised CUP application. <br /> <br />The applicants have submitted a letter revising their original CUP request (Attachment 3B- <br />I). The landscaping/screening plan from the original application is still being proposed. <br /> <br />3.
