In addition to campers, RV's can include trailers, <br />snowmobiles, boats, and other similar types of vehicles. <br /> <br />RV Regulations in the Zoning Code <br /> <br />Although the regulations do not include specific landscaping requirements, the CUP process <br />lends itself to allowing the City to require screening and other mitigation measures that will limit <br />the visual impact ofthe RV. The applicant has submitted a tree plan to provide screening from <br />adjacent properties (Attachment 3B-I). <br /> <br />1. Applicable Recreational Vehicle Storage/parking Regulations - Section 1325.10 <br /> <br />Regulation: Subd l.B - Attachment to Ground Not Permitted. RV's shall be mobile <br />and shall not be permanently affixed to the ground in a mauner that would prevent <br />removal. <br />Proposal: The applicant has indicated that the RV will be kept operational and <br />movable at all times. <br /> <br />Regulation: Subd l.C - Use of RV. No RV shall be used for living, sleeping or <br />housekeeping purposes in the City. <br />Proposal: The applicant has indicated that the RV will not be used for living, <br />sleeping, or housekeeping purposes while stored in the City. Although some <br />residents have expressed concern that the RV would be used while being stored on <br />the property, the City caunot assume that a future violation will occur. However, if <br />this regulation is violated, the CUP can be revoked. <br /> <br />Regulation: Subd l.D - RV Condition While Stored.
