The City, RRLD, GSA and Army will be having a conference call on August 14, 2007 to follow <br />up on progress of various responsibilities discussed at their June meeting and July conference <br />call. These include: demolition and remediation costs, vapor intrusion, water treatment plant, <br />EPA's role, insurance and the FOST, FOSET and MOA documents. <br /> <br />. The deadline to reach agreement on the amount of credits for environmental clean up, etc. is <br />August 31, 2007. At the August 14, 2007 meeting the parties will discuss extending this <br />deadline. If agreed to, it will require an amendment to the Offer to Purchase (OTP) which would <br />be brought back to the City Council at their August 27, 2007 meeting for consideration and <br />approval. <br /> <br />Environmental Characterization <br /> <br />. The environmental consultants have completed the soil borings on site. RRLD is expecting a <br />revised schedule from Tetra Tech that will delineate when they will start to see the results of the <br />sampling. <br /> <br />Master Plan <br /> <br />. The Task Force met on August 7, 2007 to review comments from the July 19,2007 open house. <br />In addition, Ehlers & Associates provided a presentation in a question and answer format to <br />address financial and development questions related to TCAAP. <br /> <br />. HKGI discussed that this meeting was supposed to be the last one per the original schedule and <br />asked the members if they would be willing to continue to meet monthly (until the end of the <br />year) to finalize the remaining aspects of the process. The Task Force members in attendance <br />agreed to continue to meet. <br /> <br />. HKGI is working on a new Q & A newsletter to send out to residents in early September. It is <br />anticipated that the first draft will be available for review by staff and the communications <br />committee in the next couple of weeks. <br /> <br />AUAR <br /> <br />.
