<br />Comprehensive Plan (full update aud ameudment for TCAAP) <br /> <br />. On August I, 2007 the City Council approved application to the Metropolitan Council for a <br />$20,000 grant to assist in updating the Comprehensive Plan. <br /> <br />. The City Council will be reviewing/considering approval of a fIrm to assist the City with the <br />transportation portion of the Comprehensive Plan update at the August 27, 2007 City Council <br />meeting. <br /> <br />. The fIrst public open house on the Comprehensive Plan update was held on August 8, 2007 at <br />North Heights Lutheran Church from 6:30 to 8:30 pm. Approximately 60 residents were in <br />attendance. The purpose of the meeting was to obtain resident's input on concerns within the <br />City and the direction they would like to see the City take in the next 20 years. <br /> <br />County Road H <br /> <br />. Due to design and environmental considerations raised in meetings with MNDOT, Ramsey <br />County and Rice Creek Watershed, SEH is proposing to change the west side of the County Road <br />H interchange to reduce those impacts. <br /> <br />Hwy 10 and 96 <br /> <br />. Council will be discussing options for possible improvements to Hwy 10 and County Road 96 at <br />their August 13,2007 work session. <br /> <br />Master Development Agreement <br /> <br />. City Council met in a work session on August I, 2007 to discuss various questions and concerns <br />related to TCAAP development and the Master Development Agreement. Based upon those <br />discussions, staff and consultants met with RRLD on August 8, 2007 to overview the Council's <br />comments and concerns so they could refIne the development as needed and to provide RRLD <br />direction on needed information to assist in progressing discussions. A summary memo will be <br />provided to Council regarding the meeting with RRLD under separate cover. <br /> <br />. Next meeting with RRLD to review and discuss information requested is set for September 5, <br />2007. The City Adnrinistrator will be working with Council to determine a date in September <br />when consultants and RRLD can meet with the City Council in a work session to go over the <br />information and answer questions. <br /> <br />Engineering Consnltant(s) <br /> <br />. Staff has completed the interviewing process and is in the process of checking references. Staff <br />anticipates bringing a recommendation forward for City Council review /consideration at the <br />August 27, 2007 meeting. <br /> <br />Resource Plan <br /> <br />. City staff met with Ehlers on August 9, 2007 to discuss the parameters of the Resource Plan, <br />information that would be needed to complete the analysis, timing for completion and format. <br />Ehlers will prepare a list of required documentation to provide to department heads so they can <br />begin assembling it and will put together a timeline for completion of the plan. <br /> <br />Project Status Memo <br /> <br />2 <br />
