While our <br />Transportation Department provides large-scale highway design and construction serviCes to Minnesota <br />counties. and the Department of Transportation, we still specialize in managing local transportation issues <br />such as traffic studies, intersection analyses, signal systems and corridor studies. <br /> <br />Bolton & Menk brings significant project and related experience to the Arden Hills 2008 Comprehensive <br />Plan Update. Providing transportation and municipal engineering services, Bolton & Menk understands <br />the needs and priorities of each government agency. Our experience working with all levels of government <br />enables us to understand all perspectives and to develop unique approach strategies and design concepts. A <br />. brief background and description of individual roles for key staff are as follows. Detailed resumes are <br />available upon request. <br /> <br />PROJECT MANAGER <br />Chris Chromy, P.E., P.T.O.E. is a Transportation Project Manager in the Burnsville office of Bolton & <br />Menk, Inc. He has over fourteen-years of transportation engineering experience, including transportation <br />system planning, corridor planning, traffic engineering, and highway design and construction. He will <br />serve as the lead contact for lhis project and will be responsible for the management and administration of <br />the project with the City of Arden Hills. <br /> <br />Mr. Chromy is experienced in surface transportation engineering including preliminary and final roadway <br />design, traffic signal design, intersection control studies, and traffic flow modeling. He has been a project <br />engineer for municipal and county transportation plans, sub-area and corridor studies, traffic forecasting, <br />and systematic development of informed consent. Mr. Chromy has been responsible for roadway concept <br />development including project scoping, preliminary layout and profile, future traffic flow modeling, and <br />capacity analysis. In addition to his project experience, Mr. Chromy provides traffic and transportation <br />expertise to Bolton & Menk's municipal Project Managers and clients. <br /> <br />TRAFFIC PROJECT ENGINEER <br />Bryan Nemeth, P.E., P.T.O.E. is a Traffic Project Engineer in the Burnsville office of Bolton & Menk, <br />Inc. He has eight years of civil engineering experience, including traffic forecasting and modeling, <br />freeway and arterial simulation, traffic operations, alternatives analysis, corridor studies, signal timing <br />optimization and implementation, interchange design, maintenance-of-traffic, access management, and <br />traffic impact studies. <br /> <br />Some of Mr. Nemeth's specific project experience includes traffic forecasting and planning for the Rice <br />County Transportation Plan, City of Blaine Master Plan, and the City of Mayer 2030 Transportation Plan. <br />He has completed simulation modeling for the traffic operations section included in the preliminary design <br />for the proposed TH 212 freeway in Hennepin and Carver County, Minnesota; signal design and <br />operations for the Hiawatha LRT Maintenance of Traffic in Minneapolis and Bloomington; and forecasted <br /> <br />Quote for Transportation Planning Services <br />2008 Comprehensive Plan Update <br />City of Arden Hills, Minnesota <br /> <br />Section 2 - I <br />Submitted by: <br />Bolton & Menk, Inc. <br />
