(A black and white copy is attached for rcfercncc) Thc Council has <br />rcvicwcd many concepts to date, and this latest is another attempt to reduce thc impact on <br />ncighboring homcs and businesses. Tonight is an opportunity for Council to rcvicw and <br />commcnt on the latest concept. <br /> <br />DISCUSSION <br /> <br />Thc primary purpose for tonight's work session is for Council to discuss the ncwcst concept for <br />Highway 10 and 96. It should be noted that this latest conccpt was put together very quickly <br />without a lot of detail, just to see if it would work conceptually. At this timc, staff and <br />consultants would like input fl'om Council to determine if further work should be done on this <br />conccpt. As previously noted, there are many details that would not be known until if and when <br />a concept design proceeds to preliminary design enginecring. <br /> <br />Council last discusscd this project at the August 20 Work Scssion. At that time, Council was <br />still considering a conccpt that included a full intcrchangc on Highway 10, north of Highway 96, <br />with a frontage road running north and south along the west sidc of Highway 10. Thcre werc a <br />series of questions that Council was discussing in order to advance the discussion. <br /> <br />The conclusion of thc Council the evening of August 20 was to direct staff to follow-up on four <br />areas, which are listed below. It should be noted that the newest concept that Council is <br />discussing tonight, had not been prepared yet. However, tonight's mccting will provide an <br />opportunity for staff and consultants to provide updates in these four areas. <br /> <br />I. Compare costs to move the manufactured homc community vs. costs to movc Schcrer <br />Brothers. <br />2. Confirm and give more information re: cost of moving manufactured homes. <br />3. Impact of rcmoving the access road, with traffic bcing divcrted onto the TCAAP <br />property. <br />
