APPENDIX C MEETING MINUTES Note: Meeting minutes reflect the two different time periods under which the planning efforts were performed. The initial planning effort was based on 1600 FTE under an interim president. The second portion of the planning effort was based on 2400 FTE under newly appointed President Dr. Cureton. 14 June 2001 MEMO TO: Master Campus Plan Committee FROM: Kay Stroyny, Committee Secretary DATE: June 18, 2001 SUBJECT: Minutes from June 14, 2001 meeting Present: Dr. Hal Miller, Dr. Barb Lindman, Dr. Gerry Bouma, Dr. Jerry Beilby, Jane Goedeke, Matt Hill, Mark Baden, Phil Lacher, Dr. Doug Huffman, Dr. Tim Tomlinson and Kay Stroyny Absent: Monica Groves, Steve Morrow and Dale Solberg 1. Introduction: Hal Miller gave an overview of what the committee will need to accomplished in the next couple of months. The committee will be using the information from the space utilization study from Partners and Sirny and the estimate of space needs for academic programs and academic support services. The committee must present a list of prioritized needs to Joe Smith by August 1, 2001. 2. Reviewed Estimate of Space needs for Academic Programs and Academic Support Services: Barb Lindman reviewed the presuppositions of the study: Enrollment cap of 1600 student FTE: Discussed why 1600 FTE was chosen verse other numbers. The enrollment number will affect classrooms, office space, etc. Phil reported that in 1996, the city of Roseville Phase II Plan Unit Development (PUD) approval was extended to August 2001. The PUD plan has approved footings for a dorm. Courses taught during 8 period academic week - The board has been debating the 8 a.m. - 3 p.m. school day.
