FINANCE
Goal: Establish funding mechanisms for plan implementation.
Policy: Identify funding sources to support implementation of the Plan.
VIII. IMPLEMENTATION
Implementation of the Campus Stormwater BMPs will require the development of a Capital
Improvement Plan (CIP) once the proposed projects are sufficiently refined. In some
respects, the implementation of the CIP will include elements of a Stormwater Pollution
Prevention Plan (SWPPP) that the NPDES program requires of many Cities including
Roseville and Arden Hills. Such a plan has six elements:
A. PUBLIC EDUCATION AND OUTREACH
Distributing educational materials and performing outreach to inform citizens about
the impacts polluted stormwater runoff discharges can have on water quality. This
could include website links and distribution of education materials.
B. PUBLIC PARTICIPATION/INVOLVEMENT
Provide opportunities for citizens to participate in program development and
implementation. This could include publicizing public hearings and/or encouraging
participation on a stormwater management panels.
Northwestern College Master Plan 22 13529.000
Stormwater Management Study
