<br />Ms. Michelle Wolfe <br />City of Arden Hills <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />applications for Maxfield. <br /> <br />August 20, 2007 <br />Page 15 <br /> <br /> <br />Jay Thompson <br />Vice President <br /> <br />Mr. Thompson joined Maxfield Research in 1996. <br />He has broad experience in conducting market <br />studies for a wide variety of residential and com- <br />mercial developments across the Upper Midwest. <br /> <br />Mr. Thompson is well-versed in market and eco- <br />nomic issues that affect urban and rural areas in <br />public and private markets. Much of his work has <br />focused on determining comprehensive housing <br />needs in regional rural centers. In addition, Mr. <br />Thompson has specialized in conducting market <br />feasibility studies for mixed-use development <br />projects and downtown redevelopments. Mr. <br />Thompson is also the resident expert in mapping <br /> <br />Prior to joining Maxfield, Jay served as a planner for the City of Lakewood, Colo- <br />rado where his responsibilities included co-managing the Community Develop- <br />ment Block Grant Program and conducting demographic and land use research <br />for various planning projects. <br /> <br />MAXFIELD RESEARCH INC, <br /> <br />Jay holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Geography from Mankato State Uni- <br />versity, where his course work emphasized urban and regional planning. He is <br />also a licensed real estate agent in the State of Minnesota. <br />
