Instead of inviting open development proposals for the property, the RFP <br />will list what the City wants developed on the property and how that development should occur. <br />However, in order to prepare the RFP, Staff is conducting a visioning process to determine the <br />type of development that is desired and to create design criteria for the RFP. The visioning <br />process will involve Arden Hills' residents, the City Council, Planning Commission, and the <br />Economic Development Commission. <br /> <br />The EDC was consulted at their October 17, 2007, meeting. The results of that meeting were not <br />available in time for the release of this memo.
