<br />Master Plan <br /> <br />. On October 15, 2007 the City Council met in a work session to review the budgetary impacts of a <br />decrease in number of housing units and square footage of retail, office and industrial space. On <br />October 24, 2007, the project team met with RRLD to review the comments and direction <br />provided by the City Council. RRLD will be revising their financial proforma based upon the <br />direction provided and the City Administrator will be scheduling a work session with the City <br />Council to review the updated financials. <br /> <br />. Staff and RRLD will be gathering photographs of various housing developments in the <br />Metropolitan Area, along with their corresponding unit per acre calculation, for the Council to <br />assist them in visualizing the level of density currently contemplated for TCAAP. <br /> <br />Comprehensive Plan (fnll update and amendment for TCAAP) <br /> <br />. The second public meeting on the Comprehensive Plan was held on October 16, 2007. <br />Approximately 30 attendees participated in discussion on the vision statement and transportation, <br />housing and County Road E area issues. <br /> <br />AUAR <br /> <br />. The AUAR process is on hold until the level of density for housing and commercial are decided <br />upon. <br /> <br />Hwy 10 and 96 <br /> <br />. Ramsey County was notified that they were awarded their funding request from the Federal <br />Government. Weare awaiting further details at this time. The County has requested to meet with <br />the City the week of October 29 and plans are underway to schedule that meeting. <br /> <br />Market Study <br /> <br />. On October 15, 2007, the City Council approved entering into a contract with Maxfield Research <br />to conduct a housing market study for TCAAP on behalf of the City. Staff will be meeting with <br />Maxfield to discuss the parameters of the study and determine a timeline for its completion. <br /> <br />Communication Strategy <br /> <br />. On October 9, 2007, the Communications Committee interviewed two firms to assist the City in <br />developing a communications plan for TCAAP. Based upon the interviews, the Committee is <br />recommending moving forward with Davis Communications for the development of a <br />Communications Plan and implementation thereof.
