The City and RRLD will be meeting with the GSA and Army in Washington D.C. at the end of <br />November. <br /> <br />. Ryan Companies is the sole entity of RRLD since they bought out Rhebein's interest a few <br />months ago. <br /> <br />Environmental Characterization & Demolition <br /> <br />. On October 29,2007, the City Council approved entering into a contract with Barr Engineering to <br />assist the City in the review of the environmental plans and test results for TCAAP, Staff will be <br />meeting with Barr Engineering on November 20, 2007, to provide background information on <br />TCAAP. Barr Engineering will be meeting with Tetra Tech (RRLD's Environmental Engineers) <br />after Thanksgiving to go over sampling results, etc. <br /> <br />. RRLD and their demolition and abatement contractors will be making a site visit the week of <br />November 19t1' to review the site, utility plans and buildings so they can provide updated <br />estimates for asbestos abatement and removal of structures and utilities. <br /> <br />Market Study <br /> <br />. Staff met with Maxfield Research on November 6, 2007, to go over components of the study, <br />provide them background information and discuss timeline for completion of the Study. It is <br />anticipated that the draft report will be completed and presented to the City Council at a work <br />session in January. <br /> <br />Communication Strategy <br /> <br />. Staff met with Davis Communications on November 7, 2007 to provide background information <br />and discuss process for preparing the plan, Ted Davis will be contacting each Council member to <br />set up a meeting to discuss expectations for the communications plan and perspective on what <br />needs to be communicated, identifying stakeholder groups, etc, In addition, Davis <br />Communications will be meeting with the Communications Committee on November 27, 2007 to <br />have similar discussions and discuss how they and the Committee will work together. <br /> <br />. Since it has been a while since the City has met or discussed Highway 10 and County Road 96 as <br />a group or with interested parties, staff has requested that Davis Communications prepare <br />correspondence to be sent to residents regarding status of the project to date to keep them <br />informed and engaged in the discussions, <br /> <br />Project Status Memo <br /> <br />I <br />
