We understand there is a
proposal to build up that area with a Walgreen's and possible other
businesses. We do not feel the area can support the increased traffic.
There would also be difficulties getting in and out of the center and NOT
enough parking spaces. We are opposed to this expansion as it is presently
being proposed.

This expansion would also have a very detrimental effect on the
long-standing existing businesses that we have supported for many years.

Adding another building in the Ace Frattlone parking lot would in our
opinion seriously constrain the parking for a very well runl respectedl
convenient and necessary business. This would also eliminate the ability of
Frattlone's to provide a summer garden area that many of our neighbors have
used faithfully for years.

Plans for a new drug store would displace businesses we have been
frequenting for years. Is it really necessary to have a drug store on every
major intersection? In addition to the likelihood of the Arden Pharmacy
being forced out of business, is the loss of the post office service that
they provide. It is very convenient and is used by a very large number of
the residents in our area as shown by the steady stream of customers that
use the Post Office Service on a daily basis.

Please reconsider your possible approval for this project in its present
form. Consider the impact on the neighborhood and the long-standing business
's in this center. Be responsible to all. Money and tax revenue are not the
end all.

Vince and Karen Long
959 Lydia Avenue
Roseville, MN 55113

1
