We <br />opened in February 2007. ANYTIME FITNESS is a National Franchise of small 24 hour fitness <br />clubs that are mostly located in convenient locations that are easy for the local community to <br />access. <br /> <br />I have been working in the Arden Hills area since 1994 and have owned several businesses <br />located in Arden Hills. Since then I have seen every area updated except the Arden Plaza. The <br />City has let the local developers bring in large chains, franchises and anchor stores to all areas. <br />Now it is time to update Arden Plaza. <br /> <br />The plaza is in a great location and has some very solid businesses. We also have a lack of <br />customer traffic to our businesses due to the fact that consumers in cars cannot see us with the <br />office park on the corner. This is making a major impact on our business since most people in the <br />area simply do not drive into the plaza to see what businesses are there. The areas age and <br />demographics continue to change and the businesses need anchor stores to sustain our <br />livelihoods. <br /> <br />Until the plaza is redeveloped, we will continue to rotate businesses in and out of the plaza thus <br />adding expense and hardship to the owners that are trying to do a good thing for the Arden Hills <br />Community. The businesses in the plaza deserve the same redevelopment as those near the <br /> <br />Our business has been forced to spend huge dollars on advertising and use portable signs and <br />banners to attempt to attract attention to our club.
