Intcrim products and graphics will be produced as <br />necessary for public meetings and education. <br /> <br />The project schedule chart is presenled after the work program. <br /> <br />Purpose, Vision, and Fundamental Principles <br /> <br />This section of the plan will outline the purpose of the plan and capture <br />the essence of the community's overarching objectives and <br />corresponding community values through a vision statement for the B-2 <br />District. Public visioning sessions at the beginning of the planning <br />process will form the basis of this slatement and inform the fundamenlal <br />principles that guide plan content. <br /> <br />Survey of Existing Conditions <br /> <br />A plan for the B-2 District must be based on a good understanding of <br />existing conditions. This encompasses an understanding of the area's <br />geographic context withillthe city and region, its social and physical <br />characteristics, and existing public policy for the area. <br /> <br />Social characteristics include history, demographics, employment, and <br />businesses. Demographic data from the surrounding area will need to be <br />collected to inform plan content, and will include information such as <br />surrounding population, age distribution, housing tenure, business tenure, <br />and income.
