<br />. The City's Environmental Consultant, Barr Engineering, met with RRLD representatives to <br />review the sampling data and cost estimates associated with the removal of hazardous material <br />prior to building demolition. Barr will be providing the City Council a memo and verbal update <br />on their findings at the City Council work session on May 12, 2008. It is anticipated that RRLD <br />will be providing the sampling information to the GSA and Army on May 13, 2008 for their <br />reVIew. <br /> <br /> <br />Hwy 10 and County Road 96 <br /> <br />. At the April 14, 2008 Council meeting the City Council received reports from their Consultant <br />Engineer, Bolton & Menk, regarding (I) MnDOT's position on an at-grade signalized intersection <br />into TCAAP (2) Review of findings from sound study to determine if sound walls for the <br />neighborhoods south of County Road 96 are warranted and (3) Alignment options for Highway <br />10. Council requested information regarding fmdings for need 'for sound walls south of these <br />neighborhoods from the 1-694 Environmental Assessment (EA). Staff will be providing findings <br />for Council review and consideration for continued discussion on this item. In addition, Council <br />provided staff direction to utilize the existing alignment of Highway 10 for future design and <br />engineering modeling. <br /> <br />. At the May 12, 2008 Council meeting, Bolton & Menk will provide the Council with a memo <br />outlining Ramsey County's response to design constraints for the Highway 10 and Highway 96 <br />grade separation project. <br /> <br />Communication Strategy <br /> <br />. The draft communication plan was presented to the City Council for review and comment at the <br />April 14, 2008 meeting. Staff will be updating the plan based upon City Council comments and <br />will bring the updated plan and a list of items to implement from the plan, including timing and <br />cost, to the City Council for review and discussion at a future date. <br /> <br />Project Status Memo <br /> <br />2 <br />
